Managed cloud infrastructure

24/7 managed operations for your AWS, Azure, or GCP environment — monitoring, patching, incident response, and continuous cost optimisation.

Most managed service arrangements treat cloud infrastructure like physical hosting — a static configuration to be kept running. Cloud infrastructure is more dynamic than that, and the management model needs to match: auto-scaling groups drift from their configurations, security posture degrades as services update, cost profiles shift as usage patterns change.

Our managed cloud service is built around three cycles: a daily operational cycle (monitoring, alerting, incident response), a fortnightly optimisation cycle (cost review, security posture scan, configuration drift remediation), and a quarterly strategy session with the client's technology leadership.

We manage approximately 80 clients' cloud environments at any given time, across a range of sizes from single-account SMEs to multi-account enterprise estates with cross-region replication and complex IAM structures. Our observability stack is built on CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and Cloud Operations Suite, supplemented by Datadog or Grafana Cloud at client preference.

SLA commitments are specific and contractual: 99.95% uptime on managed workloads, four-hour response to Severity-1 incidents, and a defined FinOps target — we commit to identifying cost-optimisation opportunities equivalent to a minimum percentage of managed spend each annual period.

Typical deliverables

  • 24/7 monitoring with defined escalation matrix and SLA
  • Fortnightly security posture and configuration drift review
  • Monthly FinOps report with optimisation recommendations
  • Quarterly infrastructure roadmap review with client technology lead
  • Named senior engineer as primary contact for the engagement

Engagement model

Managed cloud engagements are annual contracts with a three-month on-boarding period. On-boarding covers tooling integration, runbook development, and a baseline security posture assessment.
