Ora Cloud Services is a Dublin-based cloud infrastructure consultancy. We migrate, manage, and secure cloud environments for mid-market enterprises — and we do the work ourselves rather than outsourcing to a delivery tier.
How we work
Ora Cloud Services was founded in 2019 by Ciarán Doyle, after nearly a decade running infrastructure engineering at technology companies on both sides of the Irish Sea. The founding conviction was straightforward: most cloud managed-service providers sell a wrapper around the cloud console and call it management. Real managed cloud is an active engineering practice.
We are a small team by deliberate design. Fifteen engineers across our Dublin office and remote team members in London, Amsterdam, and Cork. Every engagement is staffed by senior engineers; there is no offshore second tier and no account management layer between you and the people doing the work.
Our client base skews toward regulated industries — financial services, healthcare, and digital health — where the cloud architecture cannot be separated from the compliance and data-protection requirements. We have built a practice around that intersection deliberately.
We hold AWS Partner Advanced accreditation, Microsoft Azure Expert MSP designation, and Google Cloud Partner status. Most of our new clients come from existing client referrals, and we prefer it that way.

Engineering over account management
The people you speak to are the people who build and manage your infrastructure. We do not have an account management layer.
Honest scoping
We scope engagements to what we can deliver, not to what we can sell. If something is outside our practice, we say so.
Continuous, not periodic
Cloud infrastructure degrades over time without active attention. Managed cloud is an engineering practice, not a periodic audit.
Transparency on cost
We share FinOps findings even when they reflect poorly on earlier decisions. Cost visibility is part of the service, not an optional add-on.
Company history
- 2019. Founded in Dublin by Ciarán Doyle. First four clients were Irish technology companies referred by former colleagues.
- 2020. First financial-services engagement — a regulated payments platform migrated to AWS under a tight timeline. Managed cloud retainer model introduced.
- 2021. Cloud security practice established with Niamh Walsh joining as Cloud Security Lead. First ISO 27001 compliance engagement completed.
- 2022. Expanded to UK clients via remote senior engineers in London. AWS Partner Advanced accreditation achieved.
- 2023. Microsoft Azure Expert MSP designation achieved. First digital-health GDPR-architecture engagement completed.
- 2024. GCP Partner status added. Team reached fifteen engineers; Cork satellite office opened.
- 2026. 100th managed-cloud client onboarded. FinOps reporting service extended to standalone retainer product.
