DevOps & platform engineering
CI/CD pipeline design and implementation, Kubernetes platform engineering, and infrastructure-as-code practices that let your engineering teams move faster.
DevOps transformation engagements often focus on the tooling and miss the practices. Introducing a CI/CD platform without changing the release process produces an automated version of the same slow, risky releases. We design engagements around both: the platform layer and the process layer, running in parallel.
On the platform side, our standard engagement covers CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps based on existing tooling), container build and registry patterns, Kubernetes deployment (EKS, AKS, or GKE), and secrets management integration (HashiCorp Vault or cloud-native equivalents).
On the process side, we work with engineering leadership to map the current release process, identify bottlenecks and risk points, and design a replacement that is faster, more auditable, and less dependent on individual tribal knowledge. Change-management support is included.
Infrastructure-as-code is a prerequisite for everything else we do. Engagements that do not include IaC from the start accumulate configuration drift that undoes the gains from everything else.
Typical deliverables
- CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
- Kubernetes cluster deployment and baseline configuration
- Secrets management integration (Vault or cloud-native)
- Infrastructure-as-code templates covering the core environment
- Engineering team enablement sessions and runbook documentation
Engagement model
DevOps engagements run from eight to sixteen weeks for a defined scope. We typically co-staff with one or two client engineers throughout, with explicit knowledge transfer built into every sprint.
